Hey guys. Whats up. Yeah.. I know. I just too busy lately to write a new entry. So, what will I talk about today? Okay. Today, I will talk about an issue (its not that serious guy) that I'm sure most of us have experience. I GOT IT A LOT. *tink* I guarantee, now you guys can think something about that, right? Well, the most thing I got a lot in my life is 'OMG, YOU'RE SO TALL'.
I suddenly remembered, last week, i heard my neighbour talk to my mom. Well, my mom have her own 'ahli mesyuarat' at my neighbourhood. I don't remembered what they talk about. I went out to buy some things from the store, then I heard one of them said 'kakyong is so tall' to my mom (they call me kakyong). Then, other 'makcik' add, 'yeah, her other sibling too'. Then my mom need to tell them how me and my siblings take after my father. When I look back, all of my siblings are taller than my mom. So, yeah, I am tall dear aunty. :)
During my school time, I always need to stand at the back of the line during school assembly. Why?? Because I am the tallest in my class. Its okay to be last person standing, but I will heard other person who need to stand at the back talking about my height. Woahhh.... you're so tall la. Hmmm. Then, I don't know what should I response to them. Thank you? Yes, you're right. After that, they will start comparing themselves to me. It then become really awkward. *krik krik*
I remembered a story, when I'm in form 4, there is other female senior who is a bit taller than me. So, both of us are standing at the back near the hall door. I can see clearly all the teachers at the front of the hall even from the back. Suddenly, it became really awkward during the speech of the Mr Principle. He was so mad about something. I can see him directly. I can't even talk or yawn. Hahhahh. I even stand like a soldier. Then, I heard a voice said, 'We have two bodyguards here. Hahaha'. How dare he said like that to me... hmpphh.
There is other thing that sometime people said to me. This story is based on true story. M is not a real name. One day, M attend a wedding ceremony of her relatives. After she finished her meal, she went to meet the host of the kenduri. When she greet Mrs. S (also not real name), she ask M where do she work now. M feel so confused. She doesn't know what should she said. Fortunately, M's mom tell Mrs. S that she still a student of form 4. The end.
Being tall for me is not a bad thing. Well, I don't have my father's or my mom's face. I don't resemble them in that way. But, when sometimes people said that I'm tall like my father, it feels good. At least I have something similar with them. Heeee... My father always told me that he pick me from the fish market. Hahahh.. But people always told me that I'm tall like him. So, yes! I'm confident that I am her daughter.
So guys, I'm sure all of you have a similar situation like me. I GOT IT A LOT situation. I must admit. At first it is so annoying. But later, you will not feel that anymore. It has become normal to you until sometimes you can jokes about it too. And you will miss it when you don't heard it anymore. Like me. I rarely heard about it now, because there are lots of tall people around me. Enjoy while it last. Feel free to comment below and share about your story. I'm a good listener.
Thank you for reading. :)
